Along with the full contingent (42 active members) the Lech Town Band offers in addition smaller ensembles, who cater for a wide range of musical engagements.
The “Kleine Partie” (“Little Oompah-Band”) is comprised of 12 musicians, whose forte lies in Austrian/Bohemian/Moravian brass band music. Ideal for weddings,
presentation ceremonies or smaller functions with up to about two hours playing duration.
The “Lecher Alphornbläser” (Lech Alphorn Players) offer alpine stylishness with their almost four metre long alphorns, a distinct and unique sound! For those
who thought that alphorn players are only found in Switzerland it should be just mentioned that the original Lech settlers migrated from the Wallis Valley in Switzerland during the 13th century.
